六 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following conditions to apply for the CAG Student Internship Program:
Age should not exceed 25 years.
Must be pursuing Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Research studies in any discipline from a recognized and reputed institution.
Should have a stellar academic record.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Place of Posting
Interns may be placed at:
The CAG’s Head Office, New Delhi, or
Any of the CAG’s Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Institutes across India.
This ensures exposure to diverse regional auditing environments.
⏳ Duration
The internship will last between 3 to 6 months, depending on project needs and intern performance.
Stipend and Benefits
Remuneration: ₹12,000 per month (all-inclusive).
The stipend is paid after successful completion of the internship and submission of the final report or paper.
Facilities provided: Office space, computer, and internet access for official work.
Intern Responsibilities
Each intern will:
Work under the supervision of a Functional Wing/Field Office Head.
Submit a report or research paper at the end of the internship.
Receive regular progress reviews during the internship period.
Upon completion, interns will be awarded an official Experience Certificate or Recommendation Letter from the CAG office.

Working hours will follow regular CAG office timings.
No TA/DA, accommodation, or additional allowances will be provided.
Interns are not entitled to leave or extra pay for overtime/weekend work.
A Secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement must be signed before joining.
The internship does not constitute employment or any future job guarantee at the CAG of India.

In case of death, injury, or illness during the internship, neither the intern nor their legal heirs shall be entitled to any compensation or benefit.
